The development of the game means there are more women involved in football than ever before. However, for real equality to happen, there needs to be diversity across all key roles in football. The legacy of the World Cup shouldn’t just be more women playing or watching football - it should be women in roles across the game, making decisions, enabling equity and inspiring each new generation of young girls to rise higher. Join SLOWE's Ro Jackson, Cassie Whittell (Women in Football) and other as they share their journeys, insights and provide guidance to women interested in these alternative careers in football.
Part 1 of the workshop is a panel session with women in various roles in football sharing their journeys and experiences. Part 2 of the workshop offers a chance for you to speak to the panelists in a small group or 1-to-1 setting, and to find out more practical information about opportunities in the football world to help take your first step!
